Downhill skiing at Kläppen
Experience real winter magic in all of Kläppen's 38 slopes. Kläppen Ski Resort is designed for downhill skiing. From the top of the mountain, you can choose to go down the green, blue, red or black hill and then meet up at Tranantorget or Kläppentorget. If you choose a green slope, you get an easy ride - perfect for children and beginners. For those who want a maximum adrenaline rush, we recommend one of our black slopes, alternatively Kläppen Snowpark. Best of all, Kläppen has slopes in all four directions = skiing in sunshine all day.
At Kläppen you will find Sälen's only gondola. With the gondola, you can quickly and easily get to the top of the mountain and enjoy mile-long views of the beautiful nature.

Ski school for better downhill skiing
There are ski schools and private instructors at Kläppen who are happy to help. Together you will ensure that you have the right technique and that you raise your self-confidence. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or experienced, you can improve your carving turns and technique with one of our instructors. We have private school instructors for all levels of skiing and snowboarding.
Accommodation and restaurants in Sälen
When it comes to accommodation, Kläppen has many cozy cabins and one hotel where you can relax and recover in the best possible way. After a day on the slopes, you can treat yourself to a relaxing moment in the sauna or curl up on the sofa in front of an open fire. When the energy runs out, you can enjoy a delicious lunch and dinner with local flavors at one of the restaurants.
Activities other than downhill skiing
Kläppen has several other winter activities for the family. You can try cross-country skiing on the well-prepared trails, ride a snowmobile through the beautiful mountain landscape or experience snowshoeing on top of Kläppen.
